Mr. Abdul Azeem Durrani.

Principal, Vision International Academy.

Research Scholar in (Education), M.Sc. (Microbiology), M.A.(Education)., B.Ed. with Science, Mathematics, Guidance and Counselling, P.G. Diploma in Management of Education, Diploma (Urdu), Hindi Kabil, Certified Career Master, Certified American English E-Teacher Trainer, Certified in Constructive Teaching and Educational Technology.

Mr. Azeem Durrani comes from Mumbai. He is a born learner and teacher. After graduating in Microbiology and Education from the University of Mumbai, he began his career as a teacher in the year 2000. He is passionate and believes that a concerned and sensitive teacher can facilitate every student of the mixed-ability classroom, the right way. He has served government and private schools as a teacher-educator, principal, and academic director to commendable heights since 2010.

Educational And Social Belief:

Impressed by the philosophy of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, Rabindranath Tagore, Alvin Toffler, Abraham Lincoln, and Dr Howard Gardner, he believes:

  • All students can learn if taught the way they can.
  • Every teacher should be ready to learn – unlearn & relearn to acquire 21st-century skills for the holistic development of the learners.
  • Teachers today must share the responsibility of parenting.
  • Schools should be the second home for students to transform them into dynamic and rational GLOBAL CITIZENS and LEADERS.
  • School curriculum should make every student ready to face the challenges of Gen-next as a dignified human being and able to distinguish between right and wrong.

He believes that research is the key to success and development. The research work he was associated with are:

“A comparative study of metacognitive strategies and perceptions while teaching science in STATE BOARD, CBSE and ICSE school students of grade 9.”

“Staff development programmes in primary schools of Mumbai” and has conducted a few action-researches too.

His work:

  • He has designed curricula for two minority schools and their maktabs. C
  • Conducts training and coaching sessions for students, parents, teaching -nonteaching staff, principals, and management through customised modules.
  • Academic and Human Resource audits of schools.
  • Administered 360-degree appraisals of K-12 principals and performance appraisals of staff.
  • He also conducts SWOC for educational institutions.

Current Engagements:

  • Assessments and Evaluation, Personalized and Accelerated Learning Programmes, Remedial and Enrichment Programmes and Concept Analysis both in Schools and in Maktabs in the capacity as a Principal of this model Experimental Non – Conventional school Vision International academy that mainstream huffaz (the school dropouts) to secondary and higher secondary education. .
  • Staff development and enrichment programme for K-12 teachers.
  • Language development programmes for Teaching English to Young Learners through LSRW Efficacy Programmes and CAP-Cognitive, Affective & Psychomotor EFFICACY PROGRAMMES.
  • Concept analysis through strategic assessment programmes.
  • At present, Mr. Durrani is studying “The Impact of Invisible Leadership on Quality Assurance of secondary schools in Mumbai” as a Research Scholar under the able Guidance of Dr. Prof. Bhagwan Balani Principal of BTTC Mumbai.

Prof. Parvaiz Talib

Prof. Parvaiz Talib is Dean and Chairman at Faculty of Management Studies & Research, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He holds MBA and Ph.D in the area of Stress Management and has teaching experience of more than 25 years. He has expertise in the areas of Stress Management, Strategy, CSR and Human Resource Management.He has published papers in national and international journals of repute and also written in various newspapers in India. His special interest lies in Counselling and Guidance of students. He trains students, young teachers and corporate professionals in Communication Skills and Personality Development. He has served as the Coordinator of Mallapuram Campus of AMU; Director of University Coaching Guidance Cell and Officer on Special Duty for the prestigious project of New Management Complex (NMC) in AMU, built through Donors’ support. In coordination with Mr AmeerAhamed, he is instrumental in assessing and finalising the programmes to be undertaken under Vision 2040 project.

Mr. Rashid Ghani Khan

Mr. Rashid Ghani Khan is a businessman with a golden heart deeply involved in philanthropic work for decade and a half. He facilitates support for the destitute patients who come to AMU’s Medical College. Belonging to an illustrious family of Aligarh which has produced IAS Officers, Educationists, Architects, Defence Officers and Political Leaders, he has a deep understanding of the educational and economic challenges of Muslims in North India . He is a trustee of Dr.I G KHAN Memorial Trust which has facilitated the interaction of AMU students with some the most renowned intellectuals, social activists, journalists and writers through the IGK Memorial lecture every year.

Dr. Ahmad Faraz Khan

Dr. Ahmad Faraz Khan is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Management Studies and Research. His PhD Topic was “Assessment of Midlife Career Stress of Indian Managers”. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology and Masters in Business Administration. He is the recipient of prestigious Syed Hasan Qasim Memorial Gold Medal, 2010 and UGC-Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in 2012. After his M.B.A he served as a marketing manager in MICO Enterprises. He also served as Regional Coordinator for Manappat Foundation, looking after the CSR division of Manappat Group. He is involved in consultancy assignments for entrepreneurs, start-ups and NGOs. His research interests include Emerging Technologies, Strategy and Entrepreneurship.

Dr. E.M. Ashraf

Dr. E.M. Ashraf, Senior Corporate Leader & Educationist. An Engineer by profession, business executive worked with multinational companies and educationalist.

Ms. Yasmin Contractor

Ms. Yasmin Contractor has over 23 years of experience as Principal across several schools in India. A highly motivated educationist, she was the Secretary and later the Chairperson of the Gurgaon Progressive Schools Council (GPSC) till 2016. She serves as a member of managing committees in multiple schools. She has been a member of several committees at CBSE including the CBSE-affiliation School Inspection Committee, CBSE Heritage Education Committee, CBSE Committee on Values Education, Observer for ongoing CBSE Training programmes, Master trainer for CCE etc. She has conducted various training programmes for the teachers and students on varied topics including Career Guidance. She regularly conducts workshops for teachers and is a frequent speaker and panelist at education summits and conferences.

Prof. Javaid Akhter

Prof. Javaid Akhter is a Hafiz-e-Quraan and has taught accounting, finance and management of services for over three decades in the Department of Business Administration at AMU Aligarh. He has also served as Controller of Examinations and Registrar at AMU. He was awarded Gold Medal of B.Com (Hons) in the year 1979, First Class MBA of 1981 and PhD in Management, all from AMU. Have successfully supervised 51 PhD theses so far, authored three books and 35 papers. He has been on the Board of some renowned Public Sector companies like SAIL, LIC India et al. Have been also serving various statutory bodies of the government of India like NAA, NBA and UGC. Have assessed and accredited over 75 institutions of higher learning including top class Universities. Despite his academic and administrative responsibilities, Prof. Akhter voluntarily supports charitable and social causes and he has never missed leading Taraveeh prayers in Ramazan for the last 55 years. the country.

Dr. Fawzia Tarannum
