At Vision International Academy, we believe in empowering our students not just academically, but also in leadership, responsibility, and civic values. The Students’ Parliamentary Council is a vibrant and democratic body that mirrors the values of participation, representation, and governance.
🎓 Purpose
The Council plays a key role in fostering student leadership and involvement in campus affairs. It gives students a platform to represent their peers, voice their concerns, and actively contribute to the development of the school environment.
🗳️ Election Process
Each academic year, the academy organizes democratic elections for the Parliamentary Council. Students from the senior classes stand for various leadership posts, while all students across the campus participate in a structured voting process to choose their representatives.
The atmosphere during the elections is full of enthusiasm, debate, campaigning, and healthy competition—encouraging students to engage with democratic values and responsibilities.

The Council comprises the following key positions:
- Campus President
- Campus Prime Minister
- Campus Home Minister
- Campus Education Minister
- Campus Sports Minister
- Campus Mess Minister
- Campus Finance Minister
- Campus Health Minister
- Campus Deeniyat Minister
Additionally, a set of Opposition Leaders is also elected to ensure checks and balances, mirroring a real-world parliamentary structure.
📜 Oath & Responsibilities
Once elected, council members take a formal oath of office and commit to upholding the values of leadership, discipline, and service. Throughout their one-year tenure, they:
- Lead initiatives in their respective ministries
- Represent student concerns and ideas
- Support school administration in campus operations
- Organize events, drives, and awareness campaigns
- Contribute towards maintaining a harmonious and growth-oriented environment
🤝 Collaboration with Administration
The Council works closely with school management and staff to ensure the smooth functioning of campus life, acting as a bridge between students and administration. Their involvement in day-to-day decision-making fosters a strong sense of ownership, maturity, and teamwork.
